To Hell and Back
January 3rd, 2010
Sometimes a girl’s gotta go what a girl’s gotta do!
Today it was running 3 miles in this weather:
Time: 32:09
Avg. pace: 10:44/mile
Mile 1: 10:15
Mile 2: 10:56
Mile 3: 10:57
Two thoughts from my run:
1) Hell will not be fire and brimstone; it will be below freezing temperatures and gusting winds.
2) The devil will also be a cranky fitness coach requiring that you run hills in such conditions.
I just survived Hell. It took longer than I had hoped, but I still survived!
Afterwards I had a little piece of Heaven:

Unfortunately it ended my heavenly experience because it burnt my taste buds off, but it’s better than running 3 miles in sub-freezing temps.
In other news, Dave and I took our tree down. How sad.
But then Dave threw the tree off of our balcony.

(don’t worry, the management told us to do it.)
Anyone else throw their Christmas tree off of their balcony? Anyone still have their tree up? I wish I still did. What do you look forward during the winter after the holidays or do you enjoy this time of year? I DO NOT! ::angry angry face::
