Sunday's on the phone to Monday

…telling it that I have the DAY OFF!

The most beautiful thing about today is that I can sleep in tomorrow! Does anyone have any special plans (whether or not you have the day off)? I’m going to switch my Tuesday run to tomorrow, and that’s really it! I’m going to also try to READ. I miss it. One of my roommates stereotyped all 6 of us in the house at one time. She told me I am the jock. Or the bookworm. I think “Internet Junkie” is more appropriate these days. I should get back to my roots.

Church was great, too, of course. I might have unofficially signed myself up to be on the church softball team. The season starts in April, but I’ll atleast wait until after the marathon. Did ya’ll know I played varsity softball? Truth is that softball has been my sport for years and years. Running has been a more recent development. And I won’t lie: I was definitely better at softball than I am at running. But I am PRESSING ON!

The day was also full of good eats. Dave was kind enough to treat me to lunch at First Watch. Dave’s hooked now. too! There’s a possibility I’ll be meeting him there for lunch tomorrow. I had the “Not Guilty Your Honor” veggie wrap. It satisfied the vegetarian in me and that fleeting thought I had about Law School.

We then stopped at the amazing Market District for some crack, er, essentials.

This MetroMint is ah-mazing. One sips gives you that “just brushed my teeth” feeling. It’s an all natural, zero calorie drink, and the only 2 ingredients are water and mint! Annnd they have a bunch of flavors. Dave chose the peppermint, but I was eyeing the spearmint and chocolate mint. Unfortunately, it’s $2 bottle, so one sip is about all that I have allowed Dave, er, myself. Note to self: despite adversion to personal hygiene, this is not a reasonable substitution for toothpaste. Become a millionaire, or start liking to take care of yourself, Abby.

Dave and I spent the rest of the day doing laundry, scrubbing melted chocolate off of our couch (oops!), and watching Lost. Aren’t we exciting? Yea, I’m actually boring myself with this post.

Peace out, brussel sprouts!
