(…for finally getting the internet! Sorry I couldn’t post this last night, but we have made it to Myrtle Beach safely.)
My ability to sleep just about anywhere.
Nerdy trivia apps on my phone.
Thrice, Cold War Kids, Dustin Kensrue, and of course my BFF Taylor Swift.
Road side farmers’ markets and delicious produce.
Silent, annoying, little brother.
Ok, he’s really not annoying at all. Actually, he’s pretty funny. I would have preferred him to be awake.
Books…but not the consequential car sickness.

The best of all: “barefoot” beach runs to loosen the kinks out of my muscles that were cramped up for 12 hours… accompanied by awesome husband and aforementioned not-so-annoying little brother.
(please excuse my road trip condition…ick)
What’s your favorite way to pass the time on road trips?
I like to sleep and eat. This trip I tried to keep my snacks healthy. It was tough because Dave bought me a HUGE bag of Lifesaver Wint-O-Mints, which are my kryptonite! I kept my mouth otherwise engaged…

Such a bummer that you get nauseous while reading in the car. I’ve heard about that, but never experienced it.

LOL!! Love this. Especially the sleeping photos. Oh yes, you are at the beach. I’ve probably asked you 5 times. I fall asleep REALLY easily in the car but only stay asleep for about 20-30min. I don’t know how to pass the time very easily and chris is not a fan of car games, hehe.
