Huge News in the Unstuff This Turkey Challenge.
Today I wanted a snack.
Scratch that. I needed a snack.
I had to run to the store anyway, so I decided to get a snack like dried fruit or something. Would satisfy my sweet tooth but not make me feel like I ruined my challenge for the day. I picked up some yogurt covered raisins. I told myself (and my friend) that I wouldn’t even take them into my office.
I knew I was lying to myself. And I didn’t even think twice when I was getting out of my car and put it in my purse.
When I sat down I opened it up and took out a large handful. I thought about cling the bag and setting it aside, but it was one of those days.
But here’s the amazing part:
That handful was more than enough…too much, in fact.
I set the bag aside.
No, guys, you don’t get it.
I SET THE BAG ASIDE.
One week into this challenge and my tolerance for sugar and sweets is weakening.
You got a problem with sugar? Cut it out (or mostly) for a week and see how you feel.
I was even going to make cookies tonight for Thanksgiving, but I really don’t want cookies now.
