Also, this morning I woke up to wise words from my wonderful friend, Lindsay. She blogged about what it means to be a successful runner and it put a lot into perspective for me. Go read it!!!

Thanks for the attitude check, ladies! I certainly needed it.

And I think I’m going to make this one a short one. I don’t have any obligations for the rest of the night, so I’m unplugging and I’m going to read a book! Which one? I don’t know. But I have had a hankerin’ for some Plato, so I think I’ll delve into one of his dialogues.

You guys know I’m honest with you, right?

Like whenever I post horrific pictures of the messes in my house, you know it’s all my mess. You leave comments saying, “Wow! that’s just like my husband!”

And I say, “Nope. This was all me.”

But when I am cleaning (which is rare), and I discover little gems like this lurking next to Dave’s dresser, I feel a little better about myself.
