It’s like Christmas came early…or my birthday.

Perfect timing too because I was heading to Hollidaysburg for my college roommate Amanda’s bridal shower. One of our other roommates, Jess, drove into Pittsburgh last night and we headed East this morning. Busy week of travel for me!

It was a fun time to play with my new toy! Don’t judge…it’s my first time playing with it. However, I told myself that it will never be in the Auto setting because I really, really want to learn all that goes into photography. I have a point and shoot camera and this is not it.

I had a fun time trying to capture the fun times with the beautiful bride-to-be!

Great fun!!! I still have a lot to learn. You bet I’ll be visiting Ashley’s blog a lot and annoyingly G-chatting her to answer my questions!

In other news, I’m happy to finally be at home without the need to travel in the near future. Well, I’m traveling on Monday again, but at least I have tonight and tomorrow to relax. And by relax, I mean squeeze in a long run… my compression sleeves came! WOOHOO!
