Things I’m Loving
April 22nd, 2011
Sorry I was MIA last night. I was reading one of the Stonewall biographies and lost track of time. But I’m back now for another addition of “Things I’m Loving” because it’s Friday and I tend to be a glass-half-full kinda gal when the weekend is in sight.
I’m obviously not going to put Stonewall Jackson on this list, because I think you all already know that I love him. And not just on Fridays. All the time!
1) Easter! It’s my favorite holiday. I think it’s because it’s Spring and I love Spring. And I used to love ham and we always have ham on Easter. I don’t think I’ve had ham for about 5 or 6 years. Wowza.
2) Toilet Paper. Dry toilet paper. I have a newfound respect for a quality 2-ply sheet that is dry and absorbent.
3) James Neal! He’s a forward that the Pens acquired in a trade in February. He’ll be a great winger for Sidney Crosby whenever the doctors decided it’s time for Sid to be cleared to play. But since he came to Pittsburgh, he’s been on a bit of a scoring drought…until Wednesday night. He scored the game winning goal in double overtime. That’s the real deal James Neal. Pens currently lead the series against Tampa Bay 3-1. If they win tomorrow’s game, they move onto the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs! LET’S GO PENS!
