Greenhouse Roof
February 24th, 2010
“…the Christian thinks any good he does comes from the Christ-life inside him. He does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us; just as the roof of a greenhouse does not attract the sun because it is bright, but becomes bright because the sun shines on it.”
~C.S. Lewis, “Mere Christianity”
I have always loved to write and bloggin has been a creative outlet for me since college. Unlike the main content of this blog, my very first blogging adventure tapped into some deeper issues than what you find at Abby Normally. I wrote about theological and philosophical topics that I was struggling with or beginning to understand, or simply explaining to my readers aspects of my faith and worldview as a follower of Christ. That blog was called “The Greenhouse Roof and Reflections of the Son” and now I’m adding it as a component to Abby Normally.
Obviously it won’t be the main content, and I won’t be updating it as frequently as my other posts. But since philosophy and theology are passions of mine, I wanted to be able to share my thoughts with those of you who are interested.
